(Scene opens with Katherine seated in her wedding dress. Her mother is standing behind her, making last minute adjustments to Katherine’s veil. Katherine is holding a small mirror).

(excerpted text) . I have prayed

Mother:        Katherine, I am so happy for you. I just know that Alex is God's man for you. I have prayed
                       since you were a little girl that God would send you just the right man.

Katherine:  Thanks Mom.
                      (She looks into the hand held mirror)
                      Do you have any last minute advice?

Mother:       Ephesians 5:22.
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife.

Katherine: That is not exactly what I wanted to hear right now Momma.
